The problem

A system this good should never be the reason you are standing in your own living room, frustrated.

Every connected system drifts

You did not invest in automation so you could learn what a firmware version is.

You invested in it so the house works. But manufacturers push updates. Internet providers swap equipment without telling anyone. A device quietly falls off the network in February and nobody notices until the guests arrive in November.

Encore is us watching. Most of what we fix, you never hear about — we see it, we correct it remotely, and your evening goes on uninterrupted. For everything else, a technician is on the way inside two business days.

Coverage that works before you have to ask

Every plan, the same foundation.

The difference between tiers is how fast we get there, and how much we do while we are in the house.

We see it before you do

Continuous monitoring across your network, control system and connected devices. When something drops, we know — usually before it affects you.

Monthly firmware care

Every covered device is reviewed each month. Supported firmware and security updates are applied proactively, with compatibility verified before anything changes.

Your own app

Personalized to your home. Run everyday functions and request support with one tap — routed straight to the people who built your system.

Alerts that mean something

No noise. If we contact you, it is because there is something you would genuinely want to know — and we have usually already started fixing it.

Past where the warranty stops

Manufacturer warranties cover the box. They do not cover the system, the integration, or the reason your shades stopped talking to your lighting. We do.

Three levels of coverage

Billed monthly. Cancel any time.

Thirty days’ notice — we would rather you stay because it is working than because you are locked in.

New Leaf hardware coverageOptionalRecommendedRequired

On every plan: billed monthly, cancel with thirty days’ notice. Encore covers the diagnosis, the warranty claim and the labor; hardware replacement itself is through New Leaf or the manufacturer. Not covered on any plan: physical damage, acts of nature, ISP outages, and third-party equipment we have not certified. Anything specific to your system is written into your agreement.

Control4 sells its own plans directly.

Assist plans are remote-only and cover Control4 equipment. Encore covers the whole certified system — network, control, audio, video, lighting, shades, surveillance.

Control4 Assist is $899 a year and Assist Premium $2,999 a year — the figures Snap One announced when the plans launched in January 2024. Control4 does not publish them on its own site; checked September 5, 2026.

Blue Note A/V

Blue Note Encore

From $59/month. Covers the whole certified system, with a technician on site to a written clock. We do not have a brand to defend; we have a house to keep working.

Warranty partner

New Leaf replaces the box. Encore makes the system work.

Two different things solving two different problems — and you want both. A warranty will not tell you a device failed, will not diagnose why your shades stopped talking to your lighting, and will not put anyone in your house on a schedule. Monitoring will not pay for a new projector.

New Leaf is an independent, employee-owned service contract provider backed by A-rated carriers — headquartered in Irving, just up the road. We will quote it alongside your system.

“Blue Note A/V has done all of my Audio Visual work since the first time they did a project for me back in 2007… They are completely confident in all areas of Audio Visual Technology and are totally trustworthy.”

Straight answers

The questions everyone asks.

What actually happens when something breaks?

If an issue cannot be resolved remotely, a certified Blue Note Encore technician will be on site within two business days of your request — one business day on Gold, same business day on Platinum when we hear from you before noon. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Central. If we miss it, that month is on us.

My system was installed by someone else. Can you cover it?

That is what the Rescue Program is for. We certify the system first — a paid visit where we inventory everything, assess the network, and give you a written report. Once it meets our standard, you are eligible for any plan at normal pricing.

Why is it billed monthly rather than annually?

Because coverage that lapses is not coverage. Monthly billing means your system is never quietly uncovered because an invoice got buried. It also spreads the cost into a number that does not require a decision every twelve months.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time, with 30 days’ notice. You are not locked into a term. We would rather you stay because it is working than because you are trapped.

What is not covered?

Physical damage, acts of nature, third-party equipment we have not certified, ISP outages, and hardware replacement itself — though we handle the diagnosis, the warranty claim, and the labor. New Leaf covers the hardware. Any exclusions specific to your system are listed in writing on your agreement, so there are no surprises on the day it matters.

What does “the whole system” mean?

Network, control, audio, video, lighting, shades, surveillance. That is the difference between a plan from us and a plan from a manufacturer. We do not have a brand to defend; we have a house to keep working.

What happens on an included on-site visit?

A full health check: firmware verification, network performance, device-by-device testing, and a walkthrough of anything that is changed since we last saw the house. It is also when clients tend to mention the thing that has been bothering them for six months — which is exactly what those visits are for.

Your time is important. Your investment should be supported.

Tell us about your system. We will confirm your plan and have you covered — usually within one business day. No payment now; we confirm the right plan first, and we will say so if that is a smaller plan than the one you picked.
